When and how is the result assessed?

Possible changes include smoother skin texture and less noticeable fine lines. Skin remodelling is gradual, so results are also assessed after the treatment course.

When might a different approach be needed?

Dark circles, bags under the eyes and pronounced eyelid sagging can have different causes. SmoothEye is not a universal solution and does not replace surgical blepharoplasty.

How does the treatment work?

Er:YAG SMOOTH® mode is intended to stimulate collagen remodelling around the eyes. Skin above, below and beside the eyes is assessed.

Treatment course

As a guide, 3–5 treatments approximately one month apart. The doctor determines the number and intervals needed.

Sensations and recovery

Warmth, temporary redness or sensitivity may occur. The eye area is delicate; the doctor discusses protection during treatment and suitable aftercare.

Prices are per treatment for the relevant area, except for specifically marked packages of 6 treatments. Pre-laser consultation — 30 €, listed separately.

Frequently asked questions

Will the treatment help dark circles and eye bags?

That depends on the cause. The consultation distinguishes skin quality changes from pigmentation, changes in volume or other causes. After assessment, the doctor recommends a suitable approach.

Will I have the same result as in the photo?

Not necessarily. The photo shows one patient’s result. Your outcome depends on your starting condition, the settings used, number of sessions and aftercare. A realistic goal is discussed at your consultation.

What should I tell the doctor before treatment?

Tell the doctor about medical conditions, medication, allergies, pregnancy, recent sun exposure and previous procedures. The doctor will confirm whether the treatment is suitable and how to prepare.

Does sending a request reserve an appointment?
