How does the treatment work?

Nd:YAG laser energy acts on selected vessels. The method and settings are chosen after assessing lesion type, depth and location.

Do the blood vessels disappear permanently?

Treated vessels may become substantially less visible, but the procedure does not eliminate every cause or prevent new vessels from forming. Repeat treatment or another approach is sometimes needed.

Will I have the same result as in the photo?

Not necessarily. The photo shows one patient’s result. Your outcome depends on your starting condition, the settings used, number of sessions and aftercare. A realistic goal is discussed at your consultation.
