When and how is the result assessed?

Some patients may notice initial changes after the first session. Improvements in firmness develop gradually; results are assessed at the follow-up time set by the doctor.

Results and their duration are individual. For pronounced skin sagging, other treatment options should also be considered during consultation.

When might a different approach be needed?

How does the treatment work?

The four-step procedure combines Er:YAG and Nd:YAG laser action at different skin depths. It also includes treatment from inside the mouth.

Treatment course

As a guide, 2–3 treatments at intervals of 1.5–2 months. The doctor may adjust the plan and later recommend maintenance sessions.

Sensations and recovery

Redness and sensitivity may occur; skin care instructions must be followed after superficial peeling. Recovery depends on the selected intensity.

How does Fotona4D differ from treating a single area?

Fotona4D combines four steps — SmoothLiftin, FRAC3, PIANO and SupErficial. They complement each other by acting on different skin layers. If your main concern is the eye area or one specific zone, a more targeted procedure can be considered at your consultation.

Will I have the same result as in the photo?

Not necessarily. The photo shows one patient’s result. Your outcome depends on your starting condition, the settings used, number of sessions and aftercare. A realistic goal is discussed at your consultation.

What should I tell the doctor before treatment?

Tell the doctor about medical conditions, medication, allergies, pregnancy, recent sun exposure and previous procedures. The doctor will confirm whether the treatment is suitable and how to prepare.
